Assistant Restaurant Manager

Doolittle Station – DuBois, PA

Doolittle Station is a growing, multi-concept hospitality property featuring Angry Goat (full-service restaurant & bar), a new diner & café, roadside creamery, attractions, and event spaces. We are building a strong team focused on great food, great service, and a memorable guest experience across the entire property. We are currently seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support operations, primarily overseeing evening shifts at Angry Goat, while also being cross-trained across all areas of the property.

Position Overview

The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a key role in daily operations, team leadership, and guest experience. This position will focus heavily on night shift leadership at Angry Goat, ensuring smooth service, accurate cash handling, and strong team performance. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to grow with an expanding operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage evening shifts at Angry Goat
  • Supervise staff and ensure high service standards
  • Oversee cash handling, drawer accuracy, and nightly closeouts
  • Ensure all orders are accurate, timely, and meet quality standards
  • Support training and development of team members
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage as needed
  • Communicate effectively with ownership and management team
  • Cross-train and support other areas of the property when needed

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak business hours
  • Experience with POS systems (Toast experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with cash handling and operations
  • Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
  • Team-oriented with a positive, solution-focused mindset
  • ServSafe and RAMP Server/Seller Certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
